Vertice Projects was delighted to return to Thundercat in the heart of Glasgow’s city centre to deliver a bold upgrade to their already iconic venue.
This high-energy space got a carefully considered refresh, blending durability, style, and functionality to elevate both customer experience and operational efficiency.
🔧 Scope of Work:

New Bar Frontage
A bespoke front bar finish was installed with integrated LED lighting to create visual impact and mood — all built to perform in a high-footfall environment. -
Bar Top Replacement
Fitted with a durable, stylish new surface ready to handle the demands of a busy service. -
New Non-Slip Flooring
Safety and aesthetics combined with new non-slip flooring installed around the bar area for both staff and guest comfort. -
Existing Flooring Sanded & Refinished
The main flooring was sanded and varnished, reviving the venue’s character while preserving its raw, rock’n’roll vibe. -
Gents Toilets Upgraded
Walls sheeted with moisture-resistant slatwall, crafted in our own workshop for a durable, easy-clean finish. -
New Door Replacements & Detailing
Various doors were replaced and upgraded throughout the venue for improved flow and finish. -
Porcelain Tiling to Bar Splashback Area
Clean, bold, and built to last — we installed new porcelain tiles behind the bar for both function and flair.
